Two points, three teams: the 2026 run-in
One Of Us and Black Kite finished the regular programme level on points and level on goal difference, with Escape a point behind and the best goal record in the division.
Eleven teams, ten games each, and after all that the top of Division 1 came down to a tie-break.
FC One Of Us and FC Black Kite both closed out on 23 points. Both on a goal difference of +17. One Of Us sit top on the tightest of margins; Black Kite, who conceded just eight goals all season, fewer than anyone, sit second.
A point behind them, FC Escape finished on 22 with a goal difference of +30, comfortably the best attacking record in the division and the sort of season that would have won most other years. FC DNEG (21) lost just once all campaign, and FC Framestore closed on 20 after signing off with a 2–1 win over Coffee & TV on 13 August.
The golden boot
Leo Wing finished the scoring charts on 11, four clear of Tom Cowlishaw on 8. Owen McGonigle (6), Giovan Battista Izzo (5) and Ethan Tsangaris (4) rounded out the top five.
At the other end
FC ILM, champions in both 2024 and 2025 and Charity Shield winners back in February, had a harder time of it in an expanded division. Eighth on 8 points! Which is either a cautionary tale about squad rotation or simply what happens when the league grows from seven teams to eleven.
